What's good:+ Everything you need in one kit.+ Color match is perfect for my white Toyota RAV4.+ Cheaper alternative to taking the car to the paint repair shop or filing an insurance claim for it.What's bad:- Instructions in the included kit and the video aren't clearly explained in a step-by-step manner.- Blending solution with the polytex fabric DOESN'T WORK. It just wipes off (or sheds off the polytex fabric and ruins) the applied paint I worked so hard on!- Takes a lot of effort and patience to apply the paint to cover up the scratch/chip.- May not work well with large paint chips.- The kit had no nitrile gloves, but only had regular plastic gloves instead.- If I run out of one item in a kit (like another bottle of blending solution), there doesn't seem to be a way to buy that one item separately. You might have to buy a whole new kit (which is a waste of money in my opinion)...My complaints: So on my car, I had a dime-sized deep paint scratch/chip that exposed the metal layer. I've tried MULTIPLE times to apply the paint and blend it in as best as I could. No matter how carefully I blend it, the paint just wipes off completely!At this point, I'm too tired to care anymore and just slapped the paint onto the scratched area so as to minimize risk of rust. As of this comment, I've yet to add the waxing part and will do that later.Having a scratch/chip on a newer car is frustrating enough, but to use a paint repair kit that doesn't have clear step-by-step instructions and has a frustrating blending method just adds more headaches.If you don't really care about how much of an eyesore the paint job may look like, then this may work for you. But if you have a newer car and you REALLY care about how the end result looks, then you might wanna look into a different option instead.
