Lots of paints claim to be single coat and NO paint store will every tell you to use less than 2 coats, regardless of what the can states. But this paint comes the closest I have used to truly covering in 1 coat, so much so that I really did paint my daughter's room in a single coat. That is pretty amazing when using a dark color over a white wall when you typically would need to do 2 solid coats with a 3rd touch up coat.There were definitely spots where a 2nd coat was needed but I was in a hurry and by the time I put her room back together, you couldn't see a single place where the paint seemed sheer or lacking in any way.Very happy with this paint.
