I keep this around all the time comes in handy for keeping my sneakers looking new .Worked precisely as advertised. I was expecting poor results try to repair the arms on a favorite office chair and was pleasantly surprised. But I want to add more coats for long term durability, and wouldn't you know it? It's now unavailable. Anywhere. Even at the manufacturer's site. How the heck could BLACK (71412) be discontinued? (The maker hasn't responded to several emails). Is there any more popular color for leather products than black? I'm just mystified why this one color would be discontinued, unless it contains some toxin or something, or an ingredient tripled in price. Does anyone know where there's a stash of this stuff anywhere? I'd pay triple to get one more bottle.Didn't work as expected would not hold on leather. Also costs way less at local craft store. Vendor very good cust service for returning product. This was recommended for peeling leather blend vinyl on a couch. It worked ok, but the vinyl part kept peeling up. So, now I have to paint the cushions again if I want it to be a solid color. I also wasn't a fan of the new texture. We plan to just get a slip cover. Its a lot more expensive, but if you have a couch that starts bubbling everywhere, this will not be enough.I have been able to wash the areas that I painted previously and it did not come off, so that was a perk.Worked GREAT! Only needed 2 coats but I added a third in some areas just to make sure it really looked good. I used this for shoes (after removing the sealer on the shoes already, do your research before just painting shoes) It was for a costume at a convention and even years later, I'm still proud to see that I'm usually the only person who has shoes so accurate to the character, thanks to this paint!(P.S. The shoes were white with subtle blue designs that I painted over with the white paint in this brand before I painted them with the red)This stuff worked pretty well. I bought it to try and repair a leather sofa that had some cat scratches. Unfortunately I gave up on the project because there were too many scratches and it was going to require numerous coats to get it looking good. If you have the time and patience this product will work great.I used this to change a fake leather stool from brown to black, it worked great. You do need to be careful of streaking, but using a sponge to apply it helped. It did take 3 coats to get the desired effect, the first coat looked horrible, but it got better with the application of the additional coats.I used these to change navy/taupe spectator shoes to navy/white. You definitely need to use a fine paint brush, but it did cover everything well. It does look like paint close up as opposed to a more natural dyed leather look, but I would recommend it for situations where polish isn't adequate.I needed the paint to try and refurbish my wife's white watch strap which had become a bit faded and scuffed. The paint arrived in good time and was easy to apply. It covered up the worn areas and the strap is still flexible, however once dried the surface has a "tacky" feel to it which is not so nice to wear. I see there is an after treatment one can apply to the paint and this might take away the stickiness but as it is really just to apply to a watch it is hardly worth spending more. Had this been a larger item then I might have spent more and bought the after treatment.Adheres very well tot he pellicle material of the Aeron chair after 2-3 coats. Doesn't seem to stick to your clothes like normal paint does.Great product - used this to restore a couch. Easy to paint on, dries quickly and leaves no residue.Good productVery good thanks
